Most offices get UniFi Access. Brivo and ButterflyMX are there for the buildings and tenant models that need them. You find out which one you are getting on the site walk, with the reason in writing - not after the quote arrives.

Cloud multi-site administration with a per-door monthly fee. Choose it when you manage several locations from one browser, or need tenant-scoped admin rights in a commercial multi-tenant building. We are a Brivo Authorized Dealer.

Multi-tenant residential and mixed-use. Video intercom at the entrance, residents managing their own guest access, and a visitor log the property manager can pull without calling us.

Common questions
Can we keep our existing door hardware?
Usually yes - most commercial door hardware can be retrofit with electric strikes, maglocks, or smart locks. A site walk tells us what's reusable.
What about multi-tenant buildings?
ButterflyMX is our go-to for multi-tenant residential and mixed-use. For commercial multi-tenant, we deploy Brivo with tenant-scoped admin rights.
Can my staff use their phones as keys?
Yes. Mobile credentials are the default now - no extra app needed on modern Brivo and UniFi Access, just tap your phone to the reader.
Does this work with our existing cameras?
If the cameras are on a supported platform (UniFi, Brivo, or industry-standard NVRs) we integrate them so door events link to clips. If not, we can replace cameras or run them in parallel.
How does UniFi Access actually work?
The reader at the door checks the credential against a policy held on a console on your own network, then releases the electric strike or maglock. Because the decision is made locally, the doors keep working if the internet connection drops, and every unlock lands in the same console as your camera footage.
Is there a monthly fee?
Brivo is cloud-hosted with a per-door monthly fee. UniFi Access has no per-door cloud fee - you buy the on-site hardware instead - though it is not fee-free either: paid tiers such as Touch Pass and Identity Enterprise are available if you want them. We price both against your door count and requirements so you can compare the five-year cost, not just the install.
