ABOUT RANGO

We make sure technology stays out of your way.

RANGO Technologies is a managed IT and cybersecurity company based in Miami Lakes, serving South Florida businesses since 2016. We are senior engineers, family-business operators, and the people you actually want answering the phone when something breaks.

Founded on the idea that small businesses deserve real engineers.

We started RANGO in 2016 in Miami Lakes because too many South Florida small businesses were stuck in a bad pattern: pay a flat fee for an "IT contract" and get tier-1 phone-tree triage, junior technicians cycling through their environment, and senior engineers only available when something was already broken.

That model never made sense to us. The technology that runs a 50-person dental practice, a 30-person manufacturing line, a 100-person professional services firm - it deserves the same engineering attention that an enterprise gets, sized and priced for the business that actually owns it. So we built RANGO around the opposite of the typical MSP: senior engineers answer the phone, every environment is documented before it is billed, and the technology is set up to work quietly so you can stop thinking about it.

Ten years in, that is still the operating principle. The clients who left their previous IT provider for us mostly stay for years. The team we have built lives in or near Miami Lakes. The relationships are personal because IT, done right, is personal - you are trusting someone with the systems that your business runs on.

Four ideas that shape how we work.

Senior-level engineering, not call-center triage

When you call, you talk to someone who can fix the problem - not someone who hands it to someone else. We built our team around that promise and we keep it because it is the difference between IT that works and IT that just costs money.

Security as a baseline, not an upsell

Every managed IT engagement gets the cybersecurity baseline on day one: MFA, EDR, email authentication, backup verification. We do not wait for an incident to recommend protection. Our clients should not have to either.

Plain-English explanations, every time

If the person making the decision cannot understand what you are proposing, you are not really proposing it - you are hiding behind it. We explain the trade-offs, the costs, the risks in language anyone can use.

Long relationships over fast wins

We are not chasing the biggest possible client list. We would rather work with 80 South Florida businesses for ten years than 800 for one. That mindset shapes how we hire, how we price, and how we say no when an engagement is not a good fit.

A team built for continuity, not turnover.

Most managed IT companies turn over technicians constantly. We do not. The engineers on your account today will likely still be on it next year and the year after. That continuity matters when something breaks: the person who answers knows your environment, your team, and what is normal for your business.

We are bilingual (English / Spanish), often necessary for the South Florida businesses we serve. We hire engineers who can explain things to a non-technical owner without making the owner feel stupid - a softer skill than the certifications, but the one our clients value most.

If you would like to meet the team before engaging, we are happy to schedule a coffee or a video call. Most of our clients found us through another client, and most of them have met the engineers who would be on their account.

The partners we lean on - and the ones who lean on us back.

Partner relationships matter because they decide what we can deploy, support, and escalate. Below is the full list of vendors we partner with:
