Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 17, 2026 | Last Updated: July 17, 2026

RANGO TECHNOLOGIES LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("RANGO," "we," "us," or "our"), respects privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you interact with rango.tech, www.rango.tech, webpages or forms that link to this Policy, our business communications, social-media pages, marketing activities, events, assessments, and services for which RANGO determines the purposes and means of processing (collectively, the "Services").

This Policy is designed as a global baseline. Additional notices, consents, or jurisdiction-specific supplements may apply depending on where you live, where services are delivered, the nature of the information involved, and RANGO's role in the processing. If a local supplement conflicts with this Policy, the supplement controls for the covered processing.

This Policy is a transparency notice. It does not reduce rights provided by applicable law and does not modify a signed Client Agreement. Please read it together with our Terms of Use and Website Disclaimer.

Privacy at a glance

We collect information you provide, business and transaction information, communications, and technical website data. We use it to operate the Site and Services, respond to requests, secure systems, manage client relationships, process transactions, improve operations, market our services, and comply with law. We use service providers and may share data when necessary for these purposes. We do not sell personal information for money. Some analytics or advertising disclosures, if enabled, may be treated as a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under certain laws, and applicable opt-out rights will be honored.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies when RANGO acts as a data controller, business, or similar entity that decides why and how personal information is processed. It may apply to:

  • visitors to the Site and people who submit website forms, request information, schedule consultations, or download materials;
  • prospective, current, and former clients, their owners, employees, contractors, and authorized users;
  • vendors, referral sources, business partners, event participants, and professional contacts;
  • people who communicate with us by email, telephone, text message, videoconference, social media, or other channels;
  • job applicants when no separate applicant privacy notice is provided; and
  • other individuals whose personal information RANGO processes for its own business purposes.

This Policy does not govern third-party websites, platforms, or services that have their own privacy notices. It also does not replace notices that apply to employees, contractors, job applicants, or other groups when RANGO provides a separate notice.

2. RANGO as a Service Provider, Processor, or Business Associate

RANGO provides managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, networking, communications, physical-security, consulting, support, and related services. In many engagements, RANGO processes personal information solely on behalf of a client and under that client's instructions. In those circumstances, the client is generally the controller or business, and RANGO acts as a processor, service provider, contractor, or, where applicable, HIPAA business associate.

Client-controlled information is governed by the applicable Client Agreement, Data Processing Addendum, Business Associate Agreement, security requirements, and the client's privacy notice. Individuals seeking to exercise rights concerning client-controlled information should ordinarily contact the relevant client. RANGO will assist the client as required by applicable law and contract.

Do not submit passwords, private keys, payment-card details, protected health information, government identification numbers, malware, or other highly sensitive or regulated information through a public website form or ordinary email unless RANGO expressly directs you to an approved secure channel.

4. Sources of Personal Information

We may obtain personal information from:

  • you directly, including through forms, communications, transactions, assessments, meetings, and support interactions;
  • your employer, organization, authorized users, coworkers, representatives, or other persons who ask us to contact or support you;

5. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information for the following business and commercial purposes, as permitted by applicable law:

  • operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the Site and Services;

We may use personal information for another compatible or related purpose, or for a purpose disclosed at collection. Where applicable law requires consent for a materially different purpose, we will seek consent before beginning that processing.

6. Legal Bases for Processing Outside the United States

Where the laws of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction require a lawful basis, RANGO relies on one or more of the following, depending on the activity:

  • Contract and pre-contract steps: processing necessary to respond to your request, provide a quote, enter into an agreement, or perform a contract;
  • Legitimate interests: operating and improving our business, securing systems, preventing fraud, managing business relationships, communicating with business contacts, and marketing relevant services, where those interests are not overridden by your rights;
  • Legal obligation: complying with laws, court orders, tax, accounting, security, sanctions, export-control, recordkeeping, and regulatory requirements;
  • Consent: where you have given valid consent, including for certain cookies, marketing, recordings, or sensitive-data processing; and

Vital interests or other lawful bases: where necessary to protect a person or where another basis is recognized by applicable law.

When we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal. When we rely on legitimate interests, you may have a right to object as described below.

7. Cookies, Analytics, Advertising, and Similar Technologies

The Site may use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, and similar technologies. These technologies may be operated by RANGO or third parties and may collect device, browser, network, usage, and interaction information. Depending on the Site configuration, they may be used for:

  • Strictly necessary functions, such as security, network management, fraud prevention, load balancing, and remembering privacy choices;
  • Functional features, such as forms, embedded content, chat, scheduling, language, or preference settings;
  • Analytics and performance, such as understanding traffic, errors, navigation, conversions, and campaign effectiveness; and

Advertising or audience measurement, such as measuring advertisements, limiting repetition, creating audiences, or presenting more relevant advertising.

Where required, nonessential technologies will be used only after appropriate notice and consent. You may manage available choices through the cookie banner or privacy-settings tool displayed on the Site, through your browser or device settings, or by contacting us. Blocking cookies may affect Site functionality.

Some jurisdictions treat disclosures to analytics or advertising providers as a "sale," "sharing," or processing for targeted advertising even when no money changes hands. Where applicable, RANGO will provide and honor legally required opt-out methods. We will process recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, when required by applicable law and relevant to the processing.

Browser "Do Not Track" signals are not governed by a uniform industry standard. Unless required by law, the Site may not respond to every Do Not Track signal. This does not affect our obligation to honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals where applicable.

8. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this Policy:

  • Service providers and contractors, including website hosting, cloud, data center, CRM, ticketing, remote-support, communications, email, analytics, marketing, scheduling, payment, accounting, document-management, backup, cybersecurity, identity, and professional-service providers;
  • Clients and authorized users when necessary to provide Services, manage an account, respond to a request, or process information under a client's instructions;
  • Technology vendors, distributors, resellers, carriers, and business partners when you request, purchase, or use a third-party product or service, or when disclosure is reasonably necessary for integration, licensing, fulfillment, support, or referral;
  • Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, banks, accountants, consultants, and legal counsel;
  • Government authorities, regulators, courts, law enforcement, and other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, systems, property, or the public;
  • Affiliates, successors, and transaction participants in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction; and

Other parties with your direction or consent.

RANGO does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We do not knowingly sell or share sensitive personal information for purposes of inferring characteristics. If analytics or advertising technologies are enabled, certain disclosures of identifiers, device information, and online activity may be considered a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law. In that event, RANGO will provide legally required disclosures and opt-out mechanisms.

We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own independent direct-marketing purposes unless we provide required notice and obtain any consent required by law.

RANGO does not currently offer a financial incentive or price difference in exchange for personal information. If we introduce such a program, we will provide a separate notice describing its material terms, the value of the information, and how to opt in or withdraw where required.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide Services, maintain business and security records, comply with law and contracts, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims. Retention is determined by factors such as:

  • the nature, sensitivity, amount, and context of the information;
  • the duration of the relationship and the time reasonably needed for follow-up, support, warranty, audit, or dispute purposes;
  • legal, tax, accounting, employment, insurance, cybersecurity, and contractual requirements;
  • the existence of litigation, investigation, legal hold, incident, or reasonably anticipated claim;
  • the capabilities and retention settings of systems and service providers; and
  • the risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure.

Marketing contact information is generally retained until you opt out or we determine it is no longer useful, after which limited information may be retained on a suppression list to honor your choice. Contract, billing, tax, and transaction records may be retained for the applicable relationship and legally required recordkeeping period. Security, access, and support logs are retained based on operational, contractual, and risk needs. Cookie and analytics retention depends on the technology and configured settings. Deidentified information may be retained for longer periods where permitted by law.

When retention is no longer necessary, we will delete, destroy, anonymize, or securely isolate information in accordance with applicable law and reasonable operational procedures. Backup copies may remain until overwritten through ordinary backup cycles, subject to access restrictions and restoration controls.

11. Data Security

RANGO uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, acquisition, use, alteration, disclosure, and destruction. Safeguards are selected based on the nature and sensitivity of the information, the systems involved, and the risks presented. They may include access controls, authentication, encryption where appropriate, monitoring, logging, secure configurations, vendor management, backup, training, incident response, and retention and disposal controls.

No system, service, storage method, website, or communication channel is completely secure. RANGO therefore cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your credentials, using secure channels, maintaining appropriate endpoint and network security, and promptly notifying RANGO of suspected unauthorized activity involving your relationship with us.

If RANGO determines that a security incident requires notice, we will provide notice to affected individuals, clients, regulators, or other parties as required by applicable law and contract.

12. International Processing and Transfers

RANGO is based in the United States. Personal information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where RANGO, its clients, affiliates, service providers, vendors, or partners operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live.

Where applicable law restricts international transfers, RANGO will take steps designed to use an approved or recognized transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards, which may include adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, the United Kingdom International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, contractual commitments, or another lawful mechanism. You may contact us for additional information about relevant safeguards, subject to confidentiality and legal limitations.

13. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, relationship with RANGO, and applicable law, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • Know or access the personal information we process about you and obtain information about its collection, use, and disclosure;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Delete personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions;
  • Obtain a portable copy of certain information;
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, or certain profiling;
  • Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing and processing based on legitimate interests;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • Appeal a decision regarding a privacy request where applicable;
  • Lodge a complaint with a competent privacy or data-protection authority; and

Receive equal service and not be discriminated against for exercising an applicable privacy right.

These rights are not absolute. We may deny or limit a request where permitted by law, including when we cannot verify identity, the request conflicts with another person's rights, information is subject to legal privilege or retention obligations, an exemption applies, or the request concerns data RANGO processes solely on behalf of a client.

14. How to Submit a Privacy Request

To submit a request, contact us using one of the methods below and clearly state the right you wish to exercise:

Telephone: (305) 901-8990; or

Mail: RANGO TECHNOLOGIES LLC, Privacy Request, 14100 Palmetto Frontage Rd, Suite 108, Miami Lakes, FL 33016, United States of America.

We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, authority, relationship with RANGO, and the scope of the request. Verification information will be used only for request handling, security, fraud prevention, and legally required recordkeeping. If we cannot verify a request, we may ask for additional information or decline the request as permitted by law.

You may use an authorized agent where permitted. We may require proof of authorization and may verify your identity directly. Parents or legal guardians may submit requests concerning a child where applicable.

If applicable law provides a right to appeal, you may appeal by emailing info@rango.tech with the subject line "Privacy Appeal" and describing the original request and the reason for the appeal. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

15. Marketing and Communication Choices

You may unsubscribe from promotional email by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us. You may request that we stop promotional calls or text messages by following the instructions in the communication or contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not prevent RANGO from sending transactional, service, security, legal, or relationship communications.

We may retain limited contact information on a suppression list to ensure that we continue to honor an opt-out. Your choices may apply only to the address, telephone number, device, browser, or communication channel used to make the request unless applicable law requires broader treatment.

16. Additional Notices for Certain Regions

California and other U.S. states. Where a comprehensive U.S. state privacy law applies, residents may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain portability, opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling, limit sensitive-data processing, appeal, and receive nondiscriminatory treatment. RANGO will honor legally valid opt-out preference signals where required. RANGO does not sell personal information for money and does not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics for advertising. California residents may also request information regarding certain disclosures for third parties' own direct marketing; RANGO does not currently make such disclosures without required notice and permission.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Individuals may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, and complaint to a supervisory authority. You have an unconditional right to object to processing for direct marketing. RANGO does not currently use personal information covered by this Policy to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. If that changes, we will provide any notice, rights, and safeguards required by law.

Canada. Individuals may have rights to access and correct personal information, withdraw consent subject to legal or contractual restrictions, challenge compliance, and complain to the appropriate privacy regulator. RANGO will use and disclose personal information for identified and reasonable purposes and will apply safeguards appropriate to sensitivity.

Other jurisdictions. If the law where you reside provides additional rights or imposes different requirements, RANGO will apply those requirements to the extent they govern the relevant processing. We may publish a local supplement, provide a point-of-collection notice, or request additional consent.

17. Children and Minors

The Site and Services are intended primarily for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under thirteen (13). We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without legally required parental consent. Where local law establishes a higher age for consent to online processing, we will apply that age when the law governs the processing.

If you believe a child provided personal information through the Site without appropriate authorization, contact us. We will investigate and take appropriate steps, which may include deletion. This section does not prevent RANGO from processing information about minors on behalf of a client under a valid agreement and lawful instructions.

18. Health Information, Payment Data, and Other Regulated Information

This Policy is not a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. When RANGO handles protected health information as a business associate, the applicable Business Associate Agreement, Client Agreement, HIPAA, and the covered entity's instructions govern that processing. Individuals should direct HIPAA rights requests to the relevant healthcare provider or health plan unless instructed otherwise.

Payment-card information may be handled by a payment processor subject to its own privacy and security practices. Client environments may contain financial, educational, biometric, government, or other regulated information. RANGO's obligations for such data are determined by applicable law, Client Agreements, data-processing terms, and the scope of Services.

19. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Tools

RANGO may use automation or artificial-intelligence-assisted tools for functions such as security analysis, support triage, document or communication assistance, analytics, workflow automation, and service improvement. Where such tools process personal information, RANGO will use them for authorized business purposes, apply access and vendor controls appropriate to the risk, and comply with applicable contractual and legal restrictions.

RANGO will not use personal information covered by this Policy to make a solely automated decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects unless that use is separately disclosed and any required notice, assessment, consent, human review, and opt-out or appeal rights are provided.

20. Third-Party Sites, Platforms, and Social Media

The Site may link to or embed third-party websites, videos, maps, scheduling tools, payment services, review platforms, social-media services, or other content. Third parties may collect information directly from you and apply their own terms and privacy practices. RANGO does not control and is not responsible for third-party privacy or security practices. Review the relevant third-party policies before providing information.

Information you post publicly on social media, review sites, forums, or other public channels may be visible to others and may be collected, copied, or used by third parties. Avoid posting confidential, sensitive, or regulated information in public channels.

21. Business Transfers and Organizational Changes

RANGO may disclose or transfer personal information in connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, investment, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, change of control, or similar transaction. The recipient may continue to process the information subject to this Policy, a successor policy, applicable law, and any notice or consent requirements.

22. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our Services, technologies, vendors, data practices, legal obligations, or business operations. The "Last Updated" date identifies the latest revision. We will post the revised Policy on the Site and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.

A revised Policy applies prospectively from its effective date unless applicable law permits otherwise. We encourage you to review the Policy periodically. Privacy practices must be evaluated based on the version in effect when the relevant processing occurred, together with any specific notice or agreement that applied.

24. Governing Law and Relationship to Other Terms

The governing-law and dispute provisions in RANGO's Terms of Use apply to this Policy and the Site, subject to any non-waivable privacy, consumer-protection, data-protection, or procedural rights provided by applicable law. Nothing in this Policy requires an individual to waive a forum, remedy, complaint right, or protection that cannot lawfully be waived.

If this Policy conflicts with a signed Client Agreement concerning RANGO's processing of client-controlled information, the Client Agreement controls for that processing. If a jurisdiction-specific privacy notice conflicts with this Policy, the jurisdiction-specific notice controls for the covered individuals and processing.
